Photo emulation
these photos show similarities by the way the clouds move and the blue tones but they also show contrasting aspects by the yellow tones and subject composition.

Photo essay
The subject of my photo essay is technology. I took these photos in a dark room in my house. I chose this place because it really focused on the subject. Technology is important to me because its escape for me and I love to see how its evolved. These images showed that progression of technology didn’t happen over night it took a while. The lighting of all these photos is dark to focus on the subject. The color and subject unify the unification of these photos.

Envisioning SOmerset: part four
IMPRESSIONISTS:DIRT
The theme that my series conveys is appreciating life. The way they do that is by showing moments or sceneries we take for granted and never stop to appreciate.By using a double exposure this shows how we kind of treat nature like “dirt”.
In photo 1 it took a few steps to achieve the final product. First I had to drag the photo into photoshop. I then did a saturation adjustment to the first layer. I also brought the brightness up a little. I then had to add a new layer. When I added the new layer I placed in the spot I wanted it to be in. After I did dragged the brightness down a little. I also sharpened the photo a little and I changed the layer mode to burn. Finally I added a slight vignette and changed the resolution.
The reason this photo was my favorite was because the way the blue of the water contrast with the brown of the dirt. The reason I feel it's the most successful is the fact that it follows the rule of thirds and the placement isn't off. I used contrast and leading lines to make the viewer scrutinize the photo and think. The original images by themselves were good but when you bring them together they bring a different mood to the photos.

Envisioning Somerset: Part three
- These photos convey that somerset used to be rich with culture and have much wealthThe photo of the house and light post show that somerset used to appreciate nature and the out doors.I used darker editing tools to show the death of past somerset. I feel the next step for somerset is debt and the town losing it inner self and changing for the worst.
Envisioning Somerset: Part two
My photos share that somerset is a very historical society. The village was a important place that shaped somerset over the years. Also slader was an important family
With using pictures of the grave stone and the house you see they lived a opulent life and they were important. The photo of the house at mallard point was composed by zooming in from 50 feet away and focusing on the house. They communicate the fact that somerset had extreme wealth.

Still life
Kevin Carter
Kevin Carter has a very graphic way of showing social issues. He shines a light on issues people don't care enough to talk about. People take notice and it helps promote social change for people who starve for example. It also helps also promote cultural awareness for people who live a life wiht0ut having to worry.
Dyptych and Triptych
The subject of my best photo was landscapes. These photos were taken horizontal. The images relate by having a interesting color pattern and the they show a progression over time. Conceptually they relate by showing how nice the world is once you stop to look. They communicate nature and peace.
Painting with light/Color
The color was found, in photo #4, on the ribs of a leaf. The colors captured were nature made. The colors in this photo were analogous due to the blues and oranges contrasting each other you get a nice color scheme. Describe the composition of your shot...how did you make color the most important part of your photos? The composition of this photo shows the texture of the leaf. Also the pattern of the lines with symmetry. The shallow depth of field was achieved by using a macro lens. I use an ISO of 200 and a fast shutter speed.
Double exposure
Capturing Light
I took this photo, number 1, at sunset. The light was being produced from the sun in the background. The photo shows good contrast and exposure.
Best Photo
This is a panorama photo of the NYC skyline. The strong elements of this photo is the contrast and depth of field. The use of line and shape shows an interesting perspective. This photo is important because it shows adventure. There is nothing I could improve
