Letter Forms
The word I created is Joey. In order to make the J I adjusted the curves in Photoshop and zoomed in on the object. Blurring the sides and cropping in on created the O. The E was crated by setting up the camera so the rocks were in descending order. The Y was a macro shot of a tree branch. The E I feel has the most interesting composition due to the placement its not clearly visible and the angle is very interesting. The unification of the letterforms is the theme is nature. Clouds because it would be easier to find letters.
A logical place to take the photos would be a city due to the many things to photograph.

Photo Essay
The subjects of my photo essay are cityscapes and sunsets. I took these photos in New York and on the highway. I selected these places due the lighting and time of day. They capture the details of ours surroundings they we normally don’t appreciate. I took each picture at a certain time of day and at a certain angle. The order was morning to sunset and the colors got darker as the sun set.I unified the pictures by taking them in the same city and making the height.

The lighting in this photo is created by ordinary ceiling bulbs. The contrast of the folders in the background clash with book in the foreground. The focus of the image is drawn the words in the book and the shadow created from the reflection on the bulb. My point of view was a direct one. I wanted to balance the book and folders to create a sense of tranquility .
The lighting of tis image was a bokeh of the highway car lights. I wanted to use a shallow depth field so I could just blur oughts and focus on the branches. I used a fast shutter speed in order to capture the cars because it was a fast pace photo. The picture makes you focus on either the running water in the background or the cars. I felt like the road is never ending kind of like happiness.
The lighting of this photo is produced from the sun. Contrast between the leaf and the wood create a ominous image. I used a shallow depth of field to create a sense of exaggeration on the leaf. My point of view was a low angle with straight personal view. The leaf was an interesting subject because it reminds me of fall. The leaf was in the wind and landed between the tow pieces of wood. The rule of thirds applies.

Double Exposure
Self Portrait
I used a macro lens to get a close up of my eye.
ISO 400 F 2.2
I used the principles of shape and negative space. I took a picture of myself blinking
My photo was able to get really close and not lose any detail.
This is a self-portrait and not a selfie because I didn’t actually gold the phone.

Studio Portrait
The lighting is coming from behind the model and its lowered. Her face is not shown only her hair is lit up
The model is situated with her body tilted to the side. Her head and a little but of her torso is shown.
The image was taken vertical with a direct point of view while shooting from below from 5 feet away.
This image communicates sort of like a halo. Her face is silhouetted while her hair is illumined
This photo is different from the others because in my other pictures you can see her face and the lighting is from the side this is from behind

Shadow and Reflection
I took the picture in my backyard in my pool. I used iso 400. The white balance was cloudy . The aperture was 2.0 and shutter speed was 1/1000/ The trees and leaf are being reflected. I took this picture by putting the lens on the side of my pool and zooming in and manually focusing.Yah because the reflection of the trees and the way the leaf is on the water makes it look like it is floating
The mood of my photo is very relaxed. I want people to react my thinking of a cold snowy day.

Aperture
It was f/1.8 for my f- stop for shallow depth of field
I used incandescent for my white balance and ISO 400.
F/2.2 for my f-stop for large depth of field
ISO 800 and fluorescent.
My best picture i feel is the picture of the rain drops on the leaf. This picture was very tidies. I uses a macro lens and couldn't shake the camera.
You would wanna use shallow depth of field when you just wanna get one thing in focus.
You wanna use large depth of field when you wanna get everything in focus like a landscape.

In the outline of the body picture the shutter speed was 10s. The light source used for the picture was multi-colored light to draw around body. By waving it around the body and long shutter i was able to trace the body outline. i feel the viewer would see the picture as cool and detailed.
1. In my pictures my location was my back yard and my subjects were mostly
2. In some of my photos i was a couple inches away but in others i was about 10ft away
3. In all of my photos i was looking straight ahead
4. My photos were shot horizontally.
5. In my pictures i did follow the rule of thirds. In the deck picture i used a grid.
6. The second leaf photo leads your eye through the photo. The focus draws your eye to the leaf and the blur makes its visually pleasing.

My image of the fence is underexposed because its almost black.
My best exposed image is the football field image because the field isn't too bright or the
background they just sort of balance each other out.
